WHERE’S MARK?
(Clothes)

Subject: Humans and their world
Cross-curricular links: English language
Language structures: He/She’s got; He/She’s wearing
Time: 10 minutes
Materials: handout

  • Enlarge the handout and colour the people in the picture.
  • Place the handout in a visible place in the classroom, describe one of the children in the picture (what he/she’s wearing, what colour it is). The children have to find the person.
  • You may then have children think of a name for one of the people, describe him/her and have the rest of the class try to find him/her.

Variation:

This activity may easily be applied to real life (both at home and in school) - the teacher, parents, or children describe a person from their surroundings, the others then call out his/her name. It may also go the other way around; name a person and have children describe what he/she is wearing.
