- Divide the children into teams.
- Start with simple instructions in positive declarative sentences – Run.; Stop.; Kick the ball.; etc.
- The first child from each team competes. That child who responds most quickly and correctly, goes to the back of the line. The team in which all the children take turns wins and can give instructions to the other teams.
- Gradually, add more complicated instructions – Stand in a line.; Make a circle.; Run and kick the ball. Finally, add bans – Don’t throw the ball. etc.).
- If children do not understand an instruction, demonstrate it one more time. Usually, children look at one another to figure out what to do, so they all follow the instructions properly. Gradually, speed the instructions up. Students have fun with it.
- To calm them down again, have them walk around the gym/playground at the end.
