WHO HAS/WHO’S GOT THE…?
(In the Classroom)
Subject: Humans and their world
Cross-curricular links: English language
Time: 10 minutes
- Have the children either stand or sit in a circle.
- Pose them questions, for example, “Who’s got my crayons?” - you can show them your empty pencil case/box.
- Encourage children to repeat the question after you. Demonstrate the activity (try to keep a rhythm to your speech):
Everyone: Who’s got my crayons from the crayon box?
Teacher: Peter’s got the crayons from the crayon box.
Petr: Who? Me?
Everyone: Yes! You!
Petr: Not me! Martin’s got the crayons from the crayon box.
Martin: Who? Me?
Everyone: Yes! You!
Martin: Not me! Emma’s got the crayons from the crayon box.
Etc... - When they have all taken a turn, the game is over. You may accompany the rhythm by snapping your fingers, slapping your thighs, etc.
