Materials: flashcards
- Place couple of clothes flashcards on the wall.
- The children take several steps towards the picture which you have named.
- Each item represents a physical movement; a sweater – one step to the right and one step to the left; trousers – one step forward and one step back; shoes – stamping. To help the children, you may place the pictures of clothes on the blackboard and draw a corresponding task under them.
- Call out individual pieces of clothes and have children do relevant movements. First, move along with students before they get used to it.
- Gradually increase the speed.
