• Make a couple of copies of the job flashcards and cut them into three pieces and keep them in 3 piles. The first pile contains all the heads, the second all the bodies and the third all the legs.
• Say to the children “Let’s make a doctor“ and place the doctor’s head on the board.
• Next select a body at random from the second pile and ask “Is this ok for a doctor?“ If it doesn’t match encourage the children to say “No, it doesn’t.” and tell you who it does belong to, before selecting another body section to place below the doctor’s head and repeating.
• If the body does match the head, encourage the children to say “Yes/Yes it does” and move on to finding the legs in a similar way.
• Repeat for the other jobs you wish to review.
