Time: 15 minutes
Materials: pictures – jobs and items used in the jobs
- Divide the students into two groups.
- Assign students in the first group with individual professions. Assign students in the second group with objects used in given professions.
- Students move around the classroom. Their task is to create pairs that belong together, i.e. the profession and relevant object. They therefore ask one another questions such as: “Hello, what’s your job? What do you do? Are you a/an …? Do you need/use a/an….in your job?”
- Once all pairs are formed, the game is over.
