Time: 10 minutes
Materials: worksheet
- Give the children the worksheets (in case you made a poster, place it on the board or on the floor while the children sit in a circle).
- A student selects one thing from the picture and says: “I spy something beginning with B.”
- The rest are looking for the word the student had chosen, e.g. “Is it a banana? - No, it isn’t. Is it bread? - Yes, it is.”
- The student who guesses the right answer takes turn and the game continues.
Note:
The activity can be adapted to practise any vocabulary.
