MR. WOLF (DVD)

Language structures: What’s the time?/What time is it? – It’s (1) o’clock.
Time: 10 minutes
Materials: DVD player
- Watch the DVD and encourage the children to “Say with Steve“.
- Watch the clip again and pause to give the children further practice of the sentence: “What’s the time, Mr Wolf?” Then count the steps with Steve and Maggie.
- Pause the DVD when you see a wolf over Steve’s shoulder and ask: “What is it?” to elicit: “It’s a wolf”.
- Resume the DVD until the children can see Maggie holding the pole on which the wolf mask has been stuck and ask: “Who’s this?” to elicit: “It’s Maggie”.
- Watch the clip to the end and then say “good bye” to Steve and Maggie.
