Materials: worksheet, text of the fairytale Goldilocks and The Three Bears, pencil

  • Read your students the Goldilocks fairy tale. If necessary, you may use gestures and facial expressions: "I’m going to read a story to you about a girl and three bears."
  • Give the children the worksheets and explain that they will hear the fairy tale one more time. During listening, they are to circle the right picture (depicting scenes from the fairy tale): "Listen to the story again and circle the right picture."
  • Always begin with a question: "What can Goldilocks see/smell/taste/touch/hear?"
  • Check the answers with the whole class.
