Time: 5-10 minutes
- Sit the children in a semicircle.
- Choose one child to stand up so the others can see him/her.
- Whisper to him/her: e.g. “Be an elephant, please.“
- The child imitates an elephant (using gestures and mimes but must not make any noises). The other children should try to identify the animal which their classmate is imitating.
- Whoever guesses first becomes the next to imitate a new animal.
